Firstly AAA Service from JW Lightsabers. I bought this for combat but the electronics (sound and light effects) are still impressive. I practice HEMA and Armoured Medieval fighting and prefer the two handed longsword. This LS is great in both hands or one. I chose the longer blade. In the attached pic the blade on the steel practice sword is 34 inches. If you are taller than 6 feet I would recommend the longer blade but if you prefer the shorter blade you could really duel well with one hand using this hilt. At the back of the claw there is a "Notch" where your index finger can rest in that allows the rest of your hand find the sweet spot in balance. If you want to hold a second hand lower on the hilt there is a section that has a diamond knurling grip, allowing for great grip and control.
The hilt is gorgeous & it looks so much better then the official Disney one + motion swing sounds are very very good & overall a very solid lightsaber.
