I got this as a 'rough and tumble' first lightsaber as a Christmas gift for my kid, and I could not be happier. Build quality is excellent, it arrived in less than two weeks, and the customer service (in helping me muddle may way through the correct electronics, blade length, etc.) unsurpassed. Would happily shop with JW Sabers again, and would also recommend the Trainer as a good 'first saber' option for parents. (Just be sure to check out the video on JW's YouTube channel to figure out how to operate the electronics and set up the saber to your specifications!)
I got 2 of these including a connector for them.
The Saber: Flawless! Once they were charged it only took me a few minutes to put it all together and set up the colour and sound how I wanted it. It feels amazing! Not too light or heavy either. And even with standard baselit electronics (RGB S16), it looks amazing!
Strap: this is the only downside in my opinion. I suggest using something else but even the bare metal is fine.
Delivery: hats off to JW Sabers! They managed to get it to my door under 2 weeks after ordering it!
I recommend this for kids, first time collectors and nerds of all kinds! This model is cheap, but strong. So wether it’s your kids going nuts, or you and the boys have regressed back to being kids yourselves, this will last and provide endless fun!
